Are you a Quality Manager with experience and knowledge within a manufacturing field to be a key figure within a well-established, forward thinking where you will be responsible for leading and growing a highly skilled Quality Team?
On offer is a diverse and exciting role where you will be leading from the front as a hands-on Manager playing a pivotal role by bringing industry best practices for inspection methods, quality documentation, and development of AS9100 systems, helping this driven business to achieve their ambitious goals and expansion plans.
In this position you will be responsible for directing quality engineers and inspectors in there day to day efforts while having to interpreting customer drawings, specifications and requirements to be the key link between Quality, Engineering and Floor departments, to help this market leading business reach the next level. You will lead from the front developing new processes and implementing training to make sure all quality inspection is being kept to the highest standard.
This position would suit a Quality Manager, with an in-depth knowledge looking to be the go to point of contact for the quality team. Working for an consistently growing business with a high level client base.
The Role:
- Lead the day to day activities of all Quality Inspectors to ensure the high standards our met
- Develop AS9100 systems and educate more junior Quality Inspectors on this
- Serve as the department's subject matter expert, provide leadership to technical decision making, and serves as departmental approval for peer-reviewed work
- Interpreting customers drawings and specifications while being the key link between Quality, Engineering and Floor departments
The Candidate:
- Previous experience in Quality Management/Supervision
- Bachelor degree in engineering
- Strong knowledge of people management
- Hands on quality experience
